Jim Allison
Mr. Allison is the Manager of Planning at the Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority (CCJPA) – a California state supported intercity passenger rail service management agency serving Northern California - and has been with CCJPA since October 2000. He work in technology and traditional rail infrastructure planning and project management. Technology involves Wi-Fi on Trains, Contactless Payment & the California Integrated Travel Project (Cal-ITP), and data/systems monitoring and integration. Traditional rail infrastructure involves new track, stations, sidings for increased frequency or reliability improvements, and obtaining grants, and managing procurement and contracts. Graduated UC Davis in Environmental Planning and Management in 1990; worked 10 years at the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency in current planning and air quality/transportation planning before joining CCJPA.
