As the Senior Manager of Revenue for the Regional Transportation District in Denver, Colorado, Monika Treipl-Harnke oversees fares, coordinates fare collection, and manages RTD’s income-based fare discount program. She has contributed to RTD’s electronic fare collection program first as a key stakeholder, then as product owner. Currently, Monika and the RTD team are busy planning for the future of fare collection at RTD. Her previous experience in business administration, accounting, and auditing often comes in handy. Monika lives in Denver with her husband, teenage daughter, two cats, and two rabbits. She enjoys climbing, backpacking, bike packing, walking, and good food.
